The competition of ideas “new headquarters of the Chigiana Library - historical archive of PCM” concerns an idea proposal for the new headquarters of the Chigiana Library - bioethics and biotechnology section - and of the Historical Archive of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers at the newly acquired offices in Piazza San Silvestro.

The choice of the prestigious building that once housed the Italian Post Office (former convent of San Silvestro in Capite) responds to the need to rationalize and reorganize the administrative spaces of the Presidency with a view to functional renewal.
